1241 Eurovision songs participated in the Eurovision Song Contest between 1956 and 2011. 2 of them were chosen as Best Eurovision Song Ever already: 'Is it true?' in 2010 and 'Fairytale' in 2011. The other 1239 entered the Euro Friends Song Contest 2012 in October 2011. After 14 months and 66 votingrounds, the winner has been chosen. Yesterday, in the 1st part of the glamourous Grand Final Gala from Mechelen, Belgium, the 25 finalists were presented in unique performances. Tonight, the Gala continues with part 2, in which host Andy Simon presents guestperformances of Alexander Rybak, Yohanna and Loreen. Ofcourse the absolute highlight of the show, the moment everybody has been waiting for, will be the voting. 22 spokespersons representing 21 countries and the United Countries, as well as the president of the jury will connect with Mechelen and announce their points in the Grand Final. Around 22:00 CET, we are expected to discover the winning song of the Euro Friends Song Contest 2012.

Simultaneously with the televisionshow, Radio International has its weekly Eurovision show dedicated completely to the Euro Friends Song Contest. Together with Andy Simon, host JP will climb up the scoreboard of the Final, from #25 shortly after 20:00 CET until the #1 around 23:00 CET.
